This project is close to Pietrasanta Castle and it aims at the partial recovery of interior and exterior with the will of increase the value of the existing building. The old wooden entrance door has been restored and reinforced with corten slabs; a new light metal staircase connects the exterior courtyards joining the existing balustrades. The entrance threshold to the apartment is emphasized by a deep black metal enclosure. On the inside the spaces are designed for a new operation of home-atelier. Libraries split the space, creating two areas on the sides and a library in the center. Each intervention is specifically designed to meet the living needs of those who live there.
