This intervention is the set of three hypogeous spaces with different characteristics. The first is the long access corridor, the second is a sort of ambulatory, and the third space is in the main one and it’s part below the square. Its cylindrical shape is surmounted by a large dome closing in an eyepiece which was used for ice refueling. The project proposal seeks to preserve the main space in its integrity without removing its intrinsic force. This glacier becomes the exhibition area with a large circular bench serving as a space for events and contemplation. Steps and flooring are designed in cement-based materials with inert materials to ensure good structural support and make clear the epochs of the different interventions.
