for the centennial of sant’elia, an in-depth study was developed around the monumento dei caduti throughout three instruments: four interviews with experts who illustrate, by anecdotes, fragments of this history, an iconographic comparison between sant’elia’s perspectives and technical drawings of the project by terragni. the last activity was a workshop, held by bêka and lemoine who have involved some students from accademia di architettura di mendrisio, shooting three short films. if sant’elia's design leaves a landmark in the city, it is terragni who, on the inside, lends a spiritual relevance.
